Knobwise

Privacy policy

Knobwise: All Settings Finder, by NK Tools. Effective 2 November 2026.

Knobwise helps you find and open the settings screens on your Android phone. This policy explains what the app reads, what stays on your phone, and what is shared.

What Knobwise reads on your phone

All of this stays on your phone. It is never uploaded or shared with us or anyone else.

What Knobwise changes

Knobwise does not change system settings. It opens Android's own settings screens and you make changes there. When you use them, it sets volume levels with the sliders and turns the flashlight on or off. If you ask, it asks your home screen app to add a shortcut to a setting.

Data stored on your phone

Your pinned settings, recently opened settings, fix-it progress, a count of settings opened and your app settings (sounds, vibration) are kept in the app's private storage on your phone. They are not sent anywhere and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Knobwise is free and shows ads using Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

This data is collected by Google, not by NK Tools, and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Knobwise asks for your consent through Google's consent message, and you can change your choice at any time from About › Ad privacy choices in the app. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

What we don't do

Knobwise asks for no runtime permissions: no location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access.

Children

Knobwise is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
